Prosperity Club: Freedom to Escape Our Family's Money Programming
Do you feel guilty or ashamed if you make more money than your family?
Do you find yourself justifying your choices?

Our families have a way of relating to money; how they think about and treat money can unconsciously impact our relationship with it. Sometimes we resist or fear making more money than our families as we believe it will:
Make our families or certain members of our family feel bad;
Lead to us being rejected or ostracized by our family; or
Cause our families to abuse us.
If our family operates from a function of "I can't have this," or "If I chose this, I go into lack," we may learn to limit our capacity to generate money even if we don't realize it. This could be especially true if we grew up in a family where everyone is encouraged or pressured to be the same.
Limiting our ability to create money is a way we prove our devotion to our family. We may learn to sacrifice ourselves, desires, and choices and make less money to prove we are devoted to our families.
We may also unconsciously match our financial reality to our family's to gain their approval. In other words, we don't create beyond our family's financial situation and reality because we don't want to make them feel bad. Instead, we create just enough to be accepted by them. By validating their reality, we "prove" they are right (because somewhere within them, they know they are wrong).
Not creating money can also be a way to protect ourselves from pain or abuse. We may equate standing out or receiving with being hurt, so we keep ourselves small to escape notice and injury.
We often don't realize that many of us have capacity to manifest money. We may find ourselves oscillating between the space of creating a lot and creating a little because our abilities conflict with our unconscious fears. It's almost like periods of feast and famine because of the dueling ideas within our subconscious.
When we let go of our programming around money, we can let our true essence and energy shine.
The freedom that comes from letting go allows us to tap into our inherent abilities and capacity to create infinite possibilities and more money.
